JR QUEENS CUP TO HELP PICK TEAMS FOR JR, CADET TEAMS

TOKYO (February 20) – National team trials for the Japanese women's junior and cadet national teams have been moved up to Junior Queens Cup in early April.

The women's national team committee revealed that squad selection for the age-group world and Asian championships will be held April 2-3 at Komazawa Gymnasium in Tokyo rather than at the JOC junior and cadet national championships at the end of April.

In recent years, selection for the men's and women's junior and cadet teams were based on the results of the JOC national championships in Yokohama.
